Spectra is an ongoing international collaboration between Ria Rajan and Sofy Yuditskaya. As Spectra, our work centers around participatory and installation work, using elements of light, visuals, colour, optics and sound to explore our relationship with the techno sphere through cyber feminism, noise and cyberdelic rituals.
Ria Rajan is a visual artist and designer whose work spans across mediums both analog and digital, including drawing, painting, image making, material and sculptural explorations, with a focus on intangible and ephemeral experiences of spaces and objects, both natural and constructed.
Sofy Yuditskaya is a media artist and educator working with video, sound, interactivity, projections, code, paper, and salvaged material. Her work focuses on techno-occult rituals, street performance, and participatory art, and is drawn to work with materials that exemplify our deep entanglement with petro-culture.
