FIELD RECORDINGS AS A COMPOSITIONAL TOOL


This 2 day workshop by Alessandro Olla covered ways of listening, gathering sounds and various creative strategies for composing using FIELD RECORDINGS. Alessandro will cover ways of listening, recording and gathering sounds to use it a part of a larger strategy for artistic, musical or other creative use. The workshop will also cover collecting multichannel, ambisonic recordings and playback of these recordings. The workshop venue was at (Art)ScienceBLR. The workshop was an open,free workshop. The workshop was possible because of the generous support of the Istituto Italiano Di Cultura - Mumbai.

The Indian Sonic Research Organisation is dedicated to the proliferation of creative music and sound art.
